Celebrity Wedding of Amanda Redman & Damian Schnabel

We are both delighted with the DVD of our wedding produced by Entwined Films. Jamie was meticulous in his planning; unobtrusive on the day; a pleasure to deal with throughout; and the final film was everything we had hoped it would be and more, capturing all that was special about our day, not only for us, but for our family and friends too. We highly recommend Entwined Films.
Damian Schnabel and Amanda Redman

Little did I know when I first received a phonecall from Damian, enquiring about wedding films, that I would be filming such a star-studded event. It was only when Damian explained they wished to keep the event discreet, due to his fiancée being an actress, that I got the first indication of what was to follow.

Amanda & Damian had chosen the picturesque grounds of 13th Century Maunsel House to host their wedding celebrations and had invited over 200 guests to share in their special wedding day. Amongst the celebrity guestlist were Amanda’s New Tricks co-stars Dennis Waterman, Alun Armstrong and James Bolam.

There was also Ray Winstone who gave a reading; Lynda Bellingham; Lisa Faulkner and Sheila Hancock.

Amanda looked stunning in a wedding dress by British designer Ritva Westenius and her daughter Emily Glenister was bridesmaid alongside Elizabeth Ridgway and Freda Gill.

I would love to share with you more detail of the wedding day, especially the Highlights Film which is incredibly romantic and emotional, but I promised to respect Amanda & Damian’s privacy by not releasing it on the website. Quite understanding I think considering how much attention the couple receive from the media.

Suffice to say it was a fabulous day. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the day was a perfect balance of fun, laughter and emotion. Having spent the day observing proceedings from afar, and then spending a couple of weeks editing their wedding film, I feel privileged to have met such a loving couple and I wish them every happiness for the future.
