Wedding Film of Lee & Zoe – Central London
Zoe & Lee invited me to London to film their wedding back in April 2010. After getting married at the Marylebone Registry Office we then got on an old Routemaster bus for a sightseeing tour around London.
It was an amazing experience for me and involved hanging off the back of the bus, sprinting across Trafalgar Square to capture the bus as it passed by the fountains and running across Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge to capture the bus as it passed by.
Crossing the Millenium bridge on foot completed the trip perfectly and gave me opportunity to gain a sense of the hustle and bustle of London City.
The reception was held at Samuel Pepys on the edge of the Thames opposite the Tate Modern. It was a lovely intimate venue with lots to keep everyone entertained – including the incident with the cake… but we won’t mention that Lee!
Zoe and Lee chose the song ‘Waterloo Sunset’ by ‘The Kinks’. I tweaked the footage slightly to give it an 8mm film effect and I think it all fits together perfectly. Have a look and see what you think.
It was long day and I didn’t get home to Somerset until gone 3am but I’m sure having watched the highlights film you will agree it was worth every minute. The full wedding DVD was 90 minutes long and a joy to produce.
Very Highly Recommended
We cannot recommend Jamie highly enough. Having initially not planned to have a video, we are so pleased we did and so pleased we went with Jamie. He was very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to capture our wedding day – running across London bridges, hanging off the back of the bus, sprinting around Trafalgar square as well as capturing some fantastic shots of our guests over the course of the day that we really love watching. The DVD is very well put together and works brilliantly with the music – we really treasure it. Having researched other companies I can definitely say that Jamie is simply the best.
